Approve the Budget Amendment, Award and issuance of Purchase Order 21-1298 of BID 20-942 Holden Pond Boat Ramp, to D & L Contracting, LLC, in the amount of $59,000.00, for the removal & installation of a new 12’ gangway with 40’ floating dock and installation of a 62’ fixed dock along the shoreline of Holden Boat Ramp for the Parks Department, as the lowest responsive and responsible bidders meeting specifications.

There is sufficient budget available in the Boating Improvement Program Fund 043, to cover the $63,000 needed to complete the project.
Approve the Budget Amendment moving the existing $48,000 within Fund 043, from Operating to Capital, and approve an increase of $15,000 from unallocated Fund 043 to Capital Account # 043.41.4100.572.63.98 due to additional work needed to complete the project.

Background:
The improvements to Holden Pond will allow the public boating access during low tide. Holden Pond currently has a boat ramp, parking area and picnic shelter.
BID 20-942 Holden Pond Boat Ramp was posted September 2, 2020. The deadline for receipt of BID 20-942 Holden Pond Boat Ramp was October 21, 2020; four (4) vendors responded. D & L Contracting, LLC was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting specifications.
