Description:

Request approval of FDOT Agreement, Resolution for Unanticipated Revenue, and Budget Amendment for construction and CEI project management for the intersection improvements at Newberry Lane and CR 235.

Recommended Action

Approve the attached FDOT LAP Agreement and authorize the Chair to execute same, and adopt the Resolution for Unanticipated Revenue and Budget Amendment for construction and CEI project management for the intersection improvements at Newberry Lane and CR 235.

August 27, 2019 - Board approved FDOT LAP Agreement for oversight of the design of the intersection at Newberry Lane and CR235.

Approval of Budget amendment will increase revenues (account: 329.79.7910.334.4900) and expenditures (account: 329.79.7910.541.63.99) by $186,282 each to account for Construction and CEI project management.

Background:

The CR 235 at Newberry Lane project is an intersection safety improvement by adding additional flashing beacons and warning signs. Staff applied for a Highway Safety Grant for the intersection at FDOT is providing up to $186,282.00 for construction and CEI project management.
