Funds are available in 001.19.1919.712.46.00, with about $30,000 already in the Civil Roof project and $180,000 coming from the Civil Envelope project. No new funds are being requested.

Background:
During the replacement of the Civil Courthouse Roof, it has become apparent several items that should have been in the original scope of work were left out. This includes the replacement of the cooling tower stands. This is the opportune time to address as the base of the stands are embedded in the roof. These stands are severely compromised and weight bearing and will be replaced with non-corrosive material to avoid future issues. Two smaller roof areas over existing stairwells will be re-coated in lieu of a complete reroof. This comes with a 10-year warranty. During the removal of the existing roof, it was determined several areas did not have light weight concrete as was designed during the original construction of the building.
