Background:

Since the BoCC last met in August and provided County staff with targeted direction for moving forward on the Central Receiving Facility, considerable activities have been made toward this desired goal. A discussion of a myriad of developments on this initiative is warranted, with results to date necessary to be shared with the BoCC and the City of Gainesville Commission. Input from County staff (Court Services & Community Support Services), the City of Gainesville and Meridian Behavioral HealthCare, Inc. will be provided.
