Background:

During discussion of the recent comprehensive land development code update, the Board was approached by a resident with the idea of amending the RV provisions in the code to allow people to live in them full time and an idea of allowing small RV parks in the urban cluster to be used as transitional housing for the homeless.  .The ULDC was amended with the larger update to allow RVs in the Rural/Agriculture land use areas as permanent housing per Board direction. The Board asked staff to bring back the discussion of RV parks as transitional housing at a later date.
