Background:

Two individuals were living in their RV’s at the Alachua County Agriculture & Equestrian Center prior to the County’s purchase of the property, in accordance with a rate previously negotiated by the prior owner.  Since the County closed on the property, they have been asked to vacate the premises, which both have done.  A $350 check and $175 in cash was received from the individuals and the amount is not in compliance with the adopted fee schedule.  Staff would ask the Board to accept the check and cash for deposit.

This approval will allow the Department to accept this revenue, since it is not consistent with the recently adopted fee schedule for this property.
