Background:

The Development Review Committee reviewed the Plat and the Preliminary and Final Development Plan at the April 6, 2023 hearing and recommended approval of the Plat to the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) based on a finding of consistency with Florida Statutes, the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan, and the Alachua County Unified Land Development Code (ULDC).

The proposed plat is for 140 single-family attached lots.

‘Pursuant to Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) 401.17(b), the Development Review Committee shall review and make recommendations on plats to the Board of County Commissioners.

The Board of County Commissioners must determine that the plat is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and Unified Land Development Code. The Board of County Commissioners has the authority to approve the plat per Section 401.02(e)10 and 402.59.
