Background:
As part of the County’s Art in Public Places program, 1% (not to exceed $100,000) is dedicated for public art with new construction and renovations project budgets. The County issued a call for artists and fourteen (14) submittals were ranked by a Selection Committee (as Roberto Delgado withdrew). The top three (3) submittals were paid $150 each to provide a project specific sketch of their proposed artwork. The proposed artwork is attached. If a selection is made by the Board, staff will issue a purchase order to winning artist to commence the work.
