Prior Board Motions:
June 28, 2022 - The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) adopted Resolution 22-066 which establishes the process for selecting and acquiring environmentally significant lands using Wild Spaces and Public Places local government infrastructure surtax proceeds.
Santa Fe River - Bell Property:
November 8, 2022 - The BOCC approved and authorized the Chair to execute the Santa Fe River - Bell Partial Assignment of Option Contract (from Alachua Conservation Trust) to purchase Real Property.
June 28, 2022 - The BOCC placed the Santa Fe River Bell property on the Active Acquisition List as a Fee Simple purchase (Full Price List).
Santa Fe River - Matthews Property:
September 27, 2022 - The BOCC approved and authorized the Chair to exercise the Santa Fe River - Matthews Option Contract to purchase Real Property, subject to the County's rights to conduct due diligence inspections and notice Seller of Title Defects and Environmental Defects as set forth in the Contract.
January 25, 2022 - The BOCC approved the reconfiguration of the Santa Fe River - Matthews project for the Active Acquisition List as Fee Simple (Full Price List).
January 23, 2018 - The BOCC placed Santa Fe River - Matthews property on the Active Acquisition List as a Conservation Easement (Full Price List).
