Description:
Sole Source Certification of eCivis and three year contract renewal with eCivis. This allows the County to continue to offer access to the eCivis grant research tool (Grants Navigator) to users from Community Based Organizations within Alachua County and to County Departments through 9/30/2022. Currently there are approximately 150 active users from Community Based Organizations and Alachua County Departments. There are additionally over 600 inactive users who have not logged in for a period of 6 months. This is a three year Agreement that provides a 5% multi-year discount for the term of the three year Agreement.

Background:
On August 23, 2003 the County entered into an Agreement with eCivis, Inc to provide access to their grant research tool (Grants Navigator) for the County, Constitutional Officers, the School Board of Alachua County and not-for profit organizations serving the citizens of Alachua County. Grants Navigator includes executive summaries of Federal, State of Florida and private foundation grants, as well as links to relevant documents, contact information and information specific to the grant applications. The program is web-based so no special software is required. For the 2016 thru 2019 contract period, users reported being awarded a grants totaling approximately $1,100,000.00, bringing the total of all grant awards reported since inception of the program to $17.5 million. The format and information content of the service allows users to quickly locate grants, determine eligibility, match and performance requirements and provides links for application and contacts within the granting agency. The Enterprise License allows the County to offer as many individual users access to the program as an agency may require.
