Background:
The current phases of the Jail HVAC (I-Section), Jail Gas Line, Fire Station Doors and Jail Glass projects have been completed and there are excess funds in these projects. The budget amendment re-allocates these funds to the Jail Fixtures and Jail Appliance projects. There are additional fixture needs (doors, sinks, toilets, etc.) and an ice machine replacement (kitchen) required. The jail interlocal agreement with the Sheriff requires response/repair with 24 hours for Critical work/living areas and systems; the budget amendment is required to comply with this requirement
