Background:
The ICMA awards certificates yearly to recognize local government performance management programs, encourage data-based decisions, and reward transparency. Any local government is eligible to participate in the Certificate Program. The 2019 certificate recipients are recognized based upon criteria including data collection and verification, training and support, public reporting, accountability and process improvement, networking, and leadership.
Special recognition for all ICMA Certificate recipients will be made later this year at the ICMA 105th Annual Conference in Nashville, TN.
