Background:
On June 19th, 2018, the Board approved charging $5 per vehicle parking fee for Poe Springs. On June 11th, 2019, the Board adopted Resolution Number 19-62 revising the Fee Schedule. Beginning on May 13th, 2019, the park was opened from dawn to dusk, seven days a week. The expanded operating hours and fee collection resulted in additional unanticipated revenue. Parking fee revenue through September 4th, 2019 totals $41,026. The unanticipated revenue from the parking fee will be used for Poe Springs Park expenses.
