Background:
At the July 10 Board meeting, the Commission discussed establishing criteria to display art in the Jack Durrance Auditorium.
The Arts Council of Alachua County reviewed the artists’ work submitted by Sara Ann Bracero and Tina Schneider at their August 5 and September 9 meetings, to ensure that each piece proposed for approval at today’s meeting meets the Program requirements. The Council unanimously recommended the Commission approve contracts for these applications.
The art will be on display in the Jack Durrance Auditorium for three months. The first group of artists approved are now on display, or are being scheduled for future display.
