Description:

A surplus property auction for non-profit organizations and other governmental agencies was held on July 15, 2019 and the public auctions were held on July 22nd and July 26, 2019

Background:

Alachua County, A Charter County pursuant to Article VIII, Section 1(g), of the Florida Constitution, has all powers of local self-government not inconsistent with general law or with special law approved by vote of the electors.  Alachua County adopted Resolution 94-34 on April 12, 1994, authorizing the Clerk to dispose of surplus property in accordance with Chapter 274, Florida Statues.  Resolution 94-34 requires that the Clerk have the report recorded in the Minutes of the Board of County Commissioners.  (Detailed listing available in Finance and Accounting and will be filed with BOCC minutes)
