Background:

This parcel (06899-000-000) is located on the south side of SW Archer Road west of SW 63rd Blvd.  It presently has a land use designation of Heavy Industrial.  The applicant is seeking to change this designation to Light Industrial as part of a plan to develop the parcel.  The Light Industrial land use designation is aimed more at warehousing as well as some office uses as opposed to Heavy Industrial which is aimed more at manufacturing.  This application has an associated zoning request (ZOM-09-19)
