Background:
Studies have shown that naturally occurring radon present in the soil poses a potential cancer risk to building occupants. Remediation measures can significantly reduce this risk if done as part of the construction process for new residences. The presentation will outline measures that can be taken to reduce the risk of radon induced conditions including cancer.
