Feb. 4, 2020 - Move Americans with Disability Acts Website Policy discussion to second regular meeting in February

Jan. 28, 2020 -
1. That all back up presented to the board be made available on the public site at the very least on the day of the meeting and if it is not on the site because of Americans With Disability Acts (ADA) that the slides be removed from the presentation those relevant slides so that we can have something on the public site at all meetings.
2. Schedule this for a Policy Discussion so we can adjust our policy if need to in order to ensure we are as transparent as possible.
3. Bring back recommendations from staff of how other counties are dealing the ADA issue.

Jun. 11, 2019 - Approve Website Accessibility Policy as Presented

Background:
As the first steps in implementing the Board's adopted Website Accessibility Policy, adopted on Jun. 11, 2019, staff has
* Provided in-person training for 130 employees
* Developed a 17-part video training series
* Implemented website changes that raised our SiteImprove score by 15%

ITS staff compiled the attached ADA Actions and Updates, along with information provided by Leon and St. Lucie counties (the only jurisdictions who responded to a Florida Association of Counties request) on their ADA efforts.

The County Manager's Office would recommend that we install screen reader software on the County website to allow vision impaired...
