Background:
The position of Emergency Management Director was established in August 2016 by Ordinance #2016-12, adopted by the Board on 8/9/16. The existing code does not reflect the organizational placement of the Emergency Management Director, nor does it reflect the changes in organizational structure previously approved by the Board. The proposed ordinance makes the Code consistent with changes in organizational structure which have already been made.
