Background:
Conference Grants are funded through 15% of the third penny of Tourist Development Tax (TDT) collections. Applicants are eligible for up to $10,000 in funding to support conferences with verifiable room nights in Alachua County. The Conference Grant application has been updated to better align it with other Tourism grant programs, to provide a streamlined application, and to provide clearer guidelines for scorers to evaluate conference plans and marketing. Funding request calculations remain the same and are based on a percentage verifiable room nights ($10,000 max).
