Background:
Kimley Horn, The County’s consultants on the Unified Land Development Code Update, have produced a Best Practices Report as required in their contract with the County. The report contains recommendations regarding the County’s code as well as an amendment matrix for further work and review. The amendment matrix contains comments from County staff as well as any focus groups or individuals who have taken part in the update process to date. Not every proposed issue in the amendment matrix has been fully vetted or recommended by the consultant or staff but they will be reviewed as we move forward towards proposed Code amendments.
