Prior Board Motions:

Feb. 11, 2020 - Approved City of Archer Interlocal Agreement for Joint Projects funded through Wild Spaces Public Places.

 

Mar. 22, 2016 - 1.  Adopt the municipal and county project lists for inclusion in the renewal of the Wild Spaces / Public Places Ballot Initiative and direct the County Attorney’s Office to finalize and advertise the required ordinance with the amendment to page 2 section 3 “The proceeds of the surtax levied pursuant to this ordinance shall be distributed in accordance with subsection 212.055(2(c). 2. Staff to begin the process of evaluating prior to the Board appointing an appropriate oversight board consistent with the ballot initiative. 3.  Add language to the effect that the County may choose to assists municipalities with the funding projects that the County feels have countywide significance.

Background:

The County had executed an interlocal agreement with the City of Archer on Feb. 11, 2020 for a splash park.  However, additional support facilities (including restrooms and changing rooms) are also required.  The original agreement did not permit reimbursement for support facilities, which has been corrected with the attached First Amendment.
