Recommended Action:
Recommended Action
Approve Recommended Mini, Major and Matching Grant Funding Awards as recommended by the Alachua County Arts Council and authorize the issuance of purchase orders.
Approve allocating un-awarded Matching grant funds to Major grants to fund a fifth application.

Background:
On August 3, 2020 the Arts Council met in a public meeting to discuss their independent scoring, resulting in the recommended funding levels (attached and below):
• Mini Grants - $500 each - Actors Warehouse, New Tech Now, C. Carnes and W. Free.
• Major Grants - $1,750 each - P. Valcante, D. Velez Climent, T. Bailey, K. Robinson and *Star Center
• Matching Grant - $3,000 - City of Alachua

*The Star Center can only be funded if the Board agrees to allocate un-awarded Matching grant funds to Major grants.
