Background:
On April 28, 2020, the Board approved a grant application to the State of Florida E911 Board for Graphic Information Services (GIS). The request was awarded in the amount of $630,880.00 and does not require a local match.

RFP # 20-948 for GIS services was required for that grant application. On April 28, 2020, the Board approve the ranking of the RFP and the selection of Akimeka, LLC at an amount of $630,880. A subsequent agreement between Akimeka and the County was negotiated and requires Board approval.

The selected vendor, Akimeka, will compare the 911 Office GIS data to the Intrado Automatic Location Information data as well as to the Master Street Address Guide. Once the comparison is complete, all discrepancies will be investigated and resolved. If necessary, Akimeka will conduct field research in the County to resolve any outstanding discrepancies.
