Background:
The Alachua County Health Facilities Authority was authorized by Part III, and Chapter 154 of the Florida Statues, and was created by County Ordinance 80-44. It is charged with assisting health facilities in the acquisition, construction, financing and refinancing of projects within the county. It is compromised of five members serving four-year terms. This board meets annually or on special occasions as warranted.
