Background:

At various times County Departments have a need to employee temporary service personnel due to fluctuation of workloads and employee turn-over.  The term of the agreement is through September 30, 2021.

The RFP process allows for negotiation of terms, conditions and price.  The Alachua County Government Minimum Wage (GMW) Ordinance allows for contracts that have been awarded via an RFP to be adjusted after additional negotiation has been completed.  This Fourth Amendment to the agreement amends the fee proposal and includes the updated pay rates and is in compliance with the GMW Ordinance.

Procurement had intended to resolicit Temporary Staffing Services for FY21 as there were no remaining renewals remaining on the Agreement. Operational impacts of mission support due to the State of Emergency due to the COVID 19 Pandemic precluded conducting the solicitation. A new solicitation will be conducted for Temporary Staffing Services commencing in FY22
