The funding for this contract is budgeted in the MSBU-Fire fund 011.54.5480.522.34.00). The FY21 estimated budget is $343,237. The First Amendment will continue the review of quarterly responses and payments as they occur. This will recognize the impact of Station 25 Hague responses.

Background:
The current interlocal agreement for Fire Suppression and First Response EMS/Rescue Services with the City of High Springs requires annual payments to be calculated based on previous calendar year responses. Using this formula would exclude the impact of Station 25 (Hague) responses. Both County and City staff recommend continuing the quarterly response reconciliation process and quarterly payments. The first amendment updates the necessary sections in the contract to adjust for this recommendation
On August 27, 2019, the Board approved the Interlocal Agreements for Fire Suppression and First Response EMS/Rescue Services with October 1, 2019 effective dates (#19-0127)
