Background:

Compliance monitoring at the County's four (4) closed landfills is needed to keep the County in compliance with Florida Department of Environmental Protection permitting and statutory requirements for closed landfills. In addition to compliance monitoring, this Agreement is for consulting services on an as-needed basis, which may include contamination assessments, remediation projects, financial evaluations, efficiency studies, and other solid waste projects which require solid waste consulting expertise. This Third Amendment would extend the term of the Agreement through September 30, 2022
