On September 8th, 2020, the Alachua County BOCC approved Resolution 20-71, the Final Rate Resolution for Solid Waste Assessments and authorized the Chair to certify the non-ad valorem assessment roll to the tax collector.

Background:
On September 8th, 2020, the Alachua County BOCC approved Resolution 20-71, the Final Rate Resolution for Solid Waste Assessments and authorized the Chair to certify the non-ad valorem assessment roll to the tax collector.
The non-ad valorem assessment roll which was approved on September 8, 2020, requires an updated to account for changes made between then and the end of the fiscal year. Doing so allows for an accurate roll which matches the roll submitted to the State of Florida by the Tax Collector.
