Description:
This is a request to move the Criminal Courthouse Chiller project funding to the Health Department Roof Replacement project and to shift the ADA Improvements funding to the State Attorney ADA improvements project.

Recommended Action:

This item has a four-part recommendation:
1) Delay replacing the chiller at the Criminal Courthouse (project 8211908 - FY21 - HVAC) and transfer appropriated funds of $400,000.00 to the Health Dept. Roof Replacement (project 8201904 - Health Dept. Bldg. Roof Replacement).
2) Transfer $114,435 from the Chiller Replacement Project at the Health Dept. (project 8211907 - FY21 - HVAC) to the Health Dept. Roof Replacement project (8201904- Health Dept. Roof Replacement).
3) Transfer $130,000 from the ADA Admin Survey Improvements (project 8201907 - FY21 - Admin Building) from completed surveys to the ADA Improvements at the State Attorney's building (project 8201907 - FY20 - State Attorney Bldg.)
4) Approve budget amendment 2021-00001569 to transfer funding as outlined in the recommendation.

All funds are currently budgeted, this action would transfer budget from
001.19.1919.519.46.00 to 001.19.1919.712.46.00 having a net zero affect on the total budget.

Background:
In FY 2019 Paul Stressing Inc. provided the County with the estimated cost of an approximate $795,755 to replace the roof. see attached letter from Paul Stressing dated March 27, 2020 and shown at encl 1.

In the FY 2020, the Commission approved the Health Department Roof Replacement Project and appropriated $615,000. On January 7, 2020, Paul Stressing provided the County with the design documents to replace the roof.
