Description:
The department currently has (2) 0.70 FTE Parks Service/Rental Assistant positions. One recently became vacant. From the vacant 0.70 FTE, we will move a 0.30 FTE to the filled position changing it from Part Time 0.70 FTE to Full Time 1.00 FTE.
A 0.40 FTE will remain and we are requesting an additional 0.10 FTE to increase this vacant position to 0.50 FTE.

Fiscal Consideration
A 0.10 FTE increase is 10%, which is $3,741 for the full year, including FICA and retirement. Since it is currently the middle of the fiscal year, this total is expected to be no more than $1,871 for the remainder of this year, which will be absorbed in the Department’s current budget.
This position is currently 25% General Fund and 75% Fund 008; this is consistent with many Parks and Open Space positions.
