All proposed programs/expenditures will be reviewed/approved in accordance with established County procedures.
Funding of $2,000 exists in 001.18.1810. for the Poet Laureate; Funding for Art for Cuscowilla will come from Wild Spaces Public Places -exact source within the Fund to be determined during the FY22 budget process; and the balance of the Art Council budget is in 118.18.1815.573. There is sufficient budget for the balance of the Council’s proposed activities; grant awards in future years will be reduced if revenues are insufficient to cover these activities.

Background:
One of the responsibilities of the Arts Council, per Resolution 18-17, is to “Develop an inclusive strategic plan for county-wide arts and cultural assets that is reviewed and updated annually.” The June 25, 2019 Strategic Plan approved by the Board was valid through 2021. The revised plan, valid through 2024, is attached.
