Background:
Alachua County entered into a sublease 4485-02 to temporarily use the Gardenia building to house Rescue/Fire Station 34 while the Phlox building which is on sublease 4485-01 was being renovated.
The construction to renovate the Phlox building was too extensive and the project was terminated along with that agreement.
This request is to approve the extension of the term of sublease 4485-02 for the Gardenia building to 5 years.
