Reject the original solicitation award to McIntyre Trucking, LLC and approve the solicitation award and contract for BID 20-229 Annual Street Sweeping Services, to USA Services of Florida, not to exceed the amount of $117,346.56 through September 30, 2021 and not to exceed $234,693.12 each fiscal year thereafter, for the sweeping of curbed Alachua County Roadways for the Public Works Department

Background:
Due to the default and termination of the previously awarded bidder, the Public Works Department has recommended the bid be awarded to the second lowest responsible and responsive bidder, USA Services of Florida.
Street Sweeping is an activity which serves to collect debris from roadways with the purpose of improving water quality in the receiving water bodies and reducing maintenance in the County's closed storm water systems. Alachua County owns over 200 miles of roadways that are drained by closed drainage systems. Public Works has operated one street sweeper for several years that has only been capable of sweeping between 25 to 50 miles of roadways per month.
