Prior Board Motions:
Resolution 2021-58 was approved on July 13, 2021, to set the rates for Solid Waste Non-Ad Valorem Assessments and authorize provision of the notice to affect property owners on the Notice of Proposed Taxes (TRIM).

Approving this request will allow the County to collect approximately $10.9 million in non-ad valorem assessments to fund the Universal Curbside Collection, Rural Collection Center and Solid Waste Management Programs.

Background:
The annual non-ad valorem assessments to fund the Universal Curbside Collection, Rural Collection Center and Solid Waste Management Programs have been in place since the early 1990’s. They are part of the Solid Waste 5-year plan and are evaluated on a yearly basis to ensure we are covering the costs of our services.
