Background:
The Southeastern States, especially Florida, have the highest levels
of pest infestation in the country. It's very common for commercial
buildings to be troubled by unwanted pests year-round in Florida,
due to our climate. The need for annual pest control services is a
necessity in order to provide a safe and pest free environment in the
County buildings for citizens and staff. This contract is to
proactlvely treat County buildings, lawns and grounds to prevent
potential pest infestations.
The Invitation to Bid was advertised on 5/19/2021. The bid opening
date was 6/23/2021. The following 3 vendors responded: Cook's
Pest Control, Inc, Rentokil North America, Inc DBA Florida Pest
Control, Inc., and McCall Service NW, LLC.
