Background:
Alachua County is a recipient of State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) funds pursuant to Florida Statute 470.907, which provides for the implementation of projects designed to address the affordable housing needs of very low, low and moderate-income households.
This Agreement will provide Rebuilding Together North Central Florida (RTNCF) with SHIP funds on a reimbursement basis to make critical home repairs to six (6) eligible, owner-occupied, very low and low-income households within Alachua County and outside of Gainesville city limits. This agreement is set to expire June 30, 2022.
Rebuilding Together North Central Florida (RTNCF) is an independent, non-profit, organization. RTNCF’s Home Repair program addresses unsafe and severely inadequate living conditions.
A Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) was advertised on April 1, 2021, for the Alachua County Department of Community Support Services State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program, State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2018-2019/2019-2020 Funding Cycles.
