Proposed contract between Alachua County BoCC and Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission Inc. to assess Alachua County’s Court Services Program and provide an evaluation to seek professional accreditation.

 

The Assessment requires a fee based upon population served in the amount of $1,200.00. Funds to cover this contract are available in the Court Services FY 22 budget line 001.36.3680.632.34.00.

 

Accreditation Assessors will come from within the State of Florida and costs for travel, lodging and per diem paid in accordance with Alachua County’s travel and reimbursement policy. Funds to cover these costs are available in the Court Services FY22 budget line 001.36.3680.623.40.00.

 

Future Fiscal Impacts: Results from Accreditation review will be evaluated by staff and recommendations brought to the Board of County Commissioners at future meetings.

Background:

As part of Court Services Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission (FCAC) accreditation process, the attached agreement and addendum must be signed by the “Civil Authority” (i.e. Chair) to continue the accreditation process.
