Background:
The City of Gainesville will be holding a special election on November 16, 2021 to fill a vacant at-large seat. The Supervisor of Elections presented the City Commission with an estimate of costs to hold the Special Election. The Supervisor of Elections has received $200,000 in unanticipated revenue to be utilized for the Special Election.
