Description:
Terms of Capital Grant Award to Shands, for one half of the construction cost of an East Side Urgent Care facility. The City of Gainesville will provide the other half of the construction cost and Shands will provide the land and assume all operational losses.

Accept the "Eastside Urgent Care Program Description" as adequate terms and direct staff to develop an agreement for a Capital Grant Award of $2,250,000 to Shands and authorize the Manager to approve any necessary budget amendments, for an East Side Urgent Care facility, owned and operated by Shands or UF Health.

The minimum operating times and a long term commitment should be considered in the term sheet.
