Background:

A major component of project management is effectively managing project budgets. Over the past few years, the Facilities Department for General Services has completed a host of projects with remaining budget. For this reason, we are asking the Board for approval to reallocate funds from completed projects to satisfy shortfalls in other projects.

Reallocating funds remaining in completed projects and transferring the balance into others with shortfalls will enable staff to complete projects with existing funds.
