Recommended Action:
Recommended Action
Approve contract #12042 with DLR Group, Inc. for professional A&E services for the Court Services Support Building and authorize the Chair to execute same on behalf of the County. Approve the budget amendment allowing for debt issuance for the project, approve the resolution for unanticipated revenue and corresponding Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) changes.

Background:
The ranking of the submittals for RFP 21-951 A & E Professional Services for the Court Services Support Building and authorization to negotiate a contract was approved by the BoCC on April 27, 2021.
The services requested include architectural, engineering, and planning services to design the Court Services Support Building on the Alachua County Judicial Justice Center site. The size of the building will be 28,000 square foot; and two stories.
The plan for this facility is to provide space for justice, justice-related occupants. It shall provide space for the Court Services and Court Alternative Services.
