Ranking and authorize negotiation of a contract for RFP 22-307 Architectural & Engineering Services for the Budget Inn Conversion.

Recommended Action:
Recommended Action
Approve the ranking of RFP 22-307 Architectural & Engineering Services for the Budget Inn Conversion as follows:

1. Brame Heck Architects, Inc.
2. Walker Architects, Inc.

Approve the above ranking and authorize staff to negotiate a contract for RFP 22-307 Architectural & Engineering Services for the Budget Inn Conversion with the top ranked firm (subject to grant approval). Should the staff be unable to negotiate a satisfactory contract with the top ranked firm, negotiations with that firm will be terminated.

The Community Support Services Department, Housing Division submitted a grant request to the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) for approximate four million dollars to assist in the conversion of the Budget Inn located 4401 SE 13th Street, Gainesville, Florida.
