The Grant award is not to exceed $30,000.00 (083.54.5410.331.20.00 # 2225404) and does not require a local match. This is a reimbursement Grant and will require an interfund load for cash flow purposes. The loan will be repaid as Grant funds are received. The expenditures are travel and training reimbursements to the other Mutual Aid Radio Communications (MARC) teams (083.54.5410.522.81.30 #2225404)

Background:
The State Division of Emergency Management (DEM) has identified funding that is set aside for statewide Mutual Aid Radio Communications (MARC) exercises. Division of Emergency Management (DEM) requires the host agency to accept the grant award to do the training, with other participating teams submitting their claims to the host agency for reimbursement. The host agency will then submit a single reimbursement request to the Division of Emergency Management (DEM) which is paid out of the grant funds. Alachua County agreed to be the host agency for this award since we are the most active MARC Unit in the state.

The Division will reimburse the Sub-Recipient only for allowable costs incurred by the Sub-Recipient in the successful completion of each deliverable.
