Background:

Public education advertising and promotional services are a key resource for the Office of Waste Collection & Alternatives and the Rural Collection Centers as they strive to further reduce solid waste disposed of in a landfill, reduce roadside litter, increase recycling, and increase back yard composting. Utilizing a professional advertising and creative agency helps Alachua County convey its message about proper waste management practices in a professional and coordinated manner through resources including print, radio, digital, and television.

 

Original agreement was approve November 13, 2018 with the term ending September 30, 2020.  First amendment was approved February 9, 2021 extending term thru September 30, 2022.  The Second amendment extends the terms thru September 30, 2024.
