Description:
Five contract amendments to renew the existing environmental services contracts for two years. Three of the amendments include rate increases.

Approve the five contract amendments to renew the existing environmental services contracts for two years and authorize the Chair to sign same.

Prior Board Motions:
During the October 8, 2019 BoCC meeting the five contracts pursuant to RFP #20-171 were executed.
During the September 8, 2020 BoCC meeting the five contracts were renewed for two years.
Fiscal Consideration:
These are Rate Based contracts with a not to exceed amount of $1.5 M for Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions and $1M each for Water & Air Research, DB Environmental Laboratories, Geosyntec Consultants and GSE Engineering & Consulting. Projects are assigned via Task Assignments and are funded through approved budgets.

Background:
Alachua County contracts with one or more vendors to provide environmental consulting services on an as needed basis through Task Assignments. The types of service which may be provided to the County include comprehensive environmental consulting, environmental planning, engineering or geohydrological support services in support of Alachua County Environmental Protection Department (ACEPD) and Alachua County regulatory, environmental planning, land conservation, environmental monitoring programs and special projects.
