Background:

The county entered an agreement with Logos to purchase the New World ERP system on 10/14/2014. During the county’s implementation of New World, Tyler Technologies acquired Logos and New World ERP. In December 2020, Tyler Technologies notified New World customers via email that New World ERP services were not being offered to new clients and recommended customers explore transitioning services. The county was offered a discount in module pricing to transition services to Munis ERP and remain with Tyler Technologies. Munis ERP is used in other Florida municipalities to cover Financial, Payroll, and Human Capital functions organizationally wide. This agreement will Convert all County and Library New World functions to Munis. The Munis agreement is a new contract with Tyler Technologies, and once implementation is complete, the county will be able to cancel services provided by New World ERP.
