Background:

The County is utilizing $397,386.00 from the Public Emergency Medical Transportation - Managed Care (PEMT-MCO) funds and $350,000.00 of American Rescue funds to renovate the Tax Collector’s building to be used as a Fire Rescue training facility.  The funds were previously budgeted in the operating category; however, Finance and Accounting has advised these expenditures should be capital.  Since the budget adjustment is greater than $50,000.00, it requires Board approval.
