Background:

On April 6, 2022, the County issued RFP-23-62 Annual Staffing Services for the Solid Waste and Resource Recovery Department seeking qualified companies to provide annual staffing services for the Solid Waste and Resource Recovery Department.  The County received two qualified responses: JMI Resource, Inc. and Sunshine Enterprise. After evaluating the proposals, the County identified JMI Resources, Inc. as the top ranked company.

The use of a temporary staffing agency to provide these skilled workers allows a higher level of flexibility to accommodate fluctuations in material volumes being processed, staff vacancies, schedule changes, etc. JMI Resource, Inc. will provide staffing for the Materials Recovery Facility and on-call, temporary or emergency staffing for the Rural Collection Centers, Transfer Station and Household Hazardous Waste facility as needed
