Background:
In addition to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), Public Works has historically set up an operations center at the Hague Compound in the Administration Building to better respond during events such as hurricanes, storms, and flooding events. During past events such as Hurricane Irma, it has become evident that the current set-up could be improved to respond to these events more efficiently. This purchase order upgrades the audio and visual communications functions in the conference room. Intent is to have upgrades in place for 2023 hurricane season. Vendor is supplying same terms and conditions per Orange County Public Schools Invitation to Bid 20-03106, stemming from Florida State Contract for Audio Visual Equipment and Accessories, no. 52161500-ACS-16-1.
